Sales are down alot and the mall has been slow which makes for a long shift believe me i know. i just wanted to remind everyone that our jobs depend on sales so make sure we are talking to every customer that walks in. make sure we remind them taht everything is 40% off. Most of all be up walking when customers are in the store. good luck everyone. remember we compeat for employee of the month by sales!!!! which is extra mney and good coupons.

ezy roller

We have one pink ezy roller left in the back room. it was the one that was saved for the guy who already paid. well when i called him to see when he was coming he said he already came and got his. so lets make sure when a costumer comes in and says we saved something for them that we check the bathroom first and take th one with the customer’s name on it. im pretty sure that ezy roller could have been sold 5 times over!

closing duties

i feel like a broken record so i willpost it one more time. when we close the store it is our job to

1. take out trash this includes the boxes there hould be no reason especially since there was two of us working.

2. to sweep and mop the floor. this also includes under the shelves and behind the counter!!!

3. to reface the shelves do a walk through before you leave andmake sure there is no empty spots!!!

4. pick up after your self if you get it out put it back!!! behind the counter was horrid i fixed it should stay that way.

5. MOST IMPORTANT THE DOORS AND YOUR END OF DAY DOES NOT GET DONE EARLY!!!!!!! IF WE CLOSE AT 9 THEY GET DONE AT 9 NOT EARLY.!!!!! IF DOORS ARE SHUT EARLY WE WILL BE FNED AND IT WILL BE TAKING OUT OF YOUR CHECK!!!!!!!!

We are all adults here and can work together and have a pleasant work area so that costumers will be back. lets face it wihout them we do not have jobs. any questions feel free to ask.

safter christmas sale

for the next few days we will be running an after christmas sale of 60% off everything in the store. this excludes ezy rollers and plasma cars of course. we still have a ways to go to meet our goal for our bonus so lets remember in order to do that we have to interact with the customers and sell things!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To keep the Plasma Cars and Ez-Rollers only on the pink and green tile out front of the store not in the white tile or within the store. This should be one of many priorities as an emplyee for this company. The mall can also fine us for this issue, depending on the situation this fine could come out of your paycheck.

I am fully aware of the volume of children that fill out store on the weekends and it may be hectic, but enforcing the rules has to be done no matter what, we also avoid problems.Thank you.

A few reminders

Hi, Guys,

I just wanted to remind everyone about a few things. Keep in mind that if we come even close to our 2009 sales figures for this year, each of you is guaranteed at least a $100 bonus. If we beat it, there is an additional bonus. An additional bonus at Christmas is the ‘highest sales’ award to the one sales associate that sells the most. That’s another $100 bonus in addition to that other bonus. We can do this, like we did it in November, if you keep a few things is mind. They are -

1. Always greet everyone that comes into the store.
2. Always suggest stocking stuffers(and mention specific ones) when checking customers out.
3. Always try to upsell, meaning get customers to buy more. You can do this by explaining certain features of a product. For example, with the super scaler cars, mention that they drive on walls and they act like a normal r/c car as well and drive on the floor.
4. Stand in front of the counter and greet, greet, greet EVERY customer that comes in the store.
5. Take a little pride in what we sell. We sell great quality products and none of our toys have been recalled. Know that when you’re selling our toys, you’re selling a safe and quality toy to kids. Our prices at first may seem high, but our toys will also last longer than toys bought at Wal-Mart, Toy’r'us, or Target.

meeting topics

1) never put display items behind the counter all displays must be at the front of the store. i will b doing checks randomly to check the store more and more now because of season. should not be sitting behind counter. need to interact with customer to get the sale if you want your christmas bonus.

2) cleaning needs to be done the store looked a mess! sweeping and mopping should be done everynight i will be checking this daily and hat time you are clocking out if it continues to be problem will have to stay the extra 15 minutes to clean. garbage is part of closing duty!

3) discounts are as marked or the normally 40% off we do not go higher for anybody unless it is okayed by me first. or sandy. you could just tell quest that we already have te lowest prices in town.

4) make sure if you sell something off the shelf replace it so we do not have empty spots. also make sure throught out your shift we are walking around the store and pulling items foward on the shelfs.

5) make sure you are checking blog daily an signing your name to it when you have read it so i know it has been read.

6) kids are not allowed to be on the white with he ridding toys and we need to let them know this right away.
